I LOVE CHOCOLATE!

This is what happens when Mom leaves the house for only a few minutes to visit a neighbor. I spent the next hour cleaning rugs and carpets where Mason had left his chocolate trail.

Happy Birthday Old Man!!

I can call him an old man because he is a whole year and a half old than me. Colby spent his birthday at the BYU vs Washington game in Seattle, so we had a little party for him when he returned. The boys wanted to get him a shirt that he could use while enjoying he second love of his life, his motorcycle!! (Of course his first is his family, except for when the weathers nice!)

Jake's first day of Kindergarten

So here's a funny little story for Jake's first day. Every Monday is early out day for the whole school. What I didn't realize was that it meant afternoon Kindergarten started 1/2 hour earlier than normal.(Tyler was in the morning class so this was never an issure.) So I took Jake to school and had my camera ready to take more pictures, but when no other kids were waiting to go into class I realized we were late and his class had already started. Jake didn't care, he was just happy he didn't have to take anymore pictures!!

Tyler's first day of 2nd grade

Why is it that mom's are more nervous for their kids to start school than the kids are?

Cannon Beach, Oregon

We spent a week at the Oregon coast with my parents, siblings and their families. We rented a large house that fit all of us comfortably and had a great time. The week was spent playing football, baseball, crabbing, swimming and relaxing. The kids keep asking us if we will get to go back.

Spending time in Washougal, WA

Before heading to the beach with my family, we spent a few days with Colby's family. This is us at Bonneville Dam. We showed the boys the fish ladder and they were amazed at how big the fish were.

Celebrating the 4th of July

The 4th of July is one of our biggest holidays of the year. The Rollins family (aunts, uncles, cousins) have been attending the Provo Freedom Festival parade for many, many years. The men set up chairs a few days before to guarantee a good spot because it attracts A lOT of people.

After the parade, everyone heads to Great Grandma Rollins for a barbeque and SWIMMING!! This is one of the best parts of the whole day.

Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel, Mexico
The first night in Cozumel, we met Mike and Amanda Parker from Las Vegas. Mike and Colby went to school together, but had not seen each other in 8 years. We had a great time with them and Mike was a great Spanish translator! We know they will be lifelong friends!
